Ingredients

  • 1 lb Six 9 Ranch Wagyu Angus steak (flank, skirt, or sirloin work best)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Juice of 2 limes

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas

  • Toppings of your choice: fresh cilantro, diced onion, avocado slices, salsa, crumbled queso fresco, sour cream

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Steak: In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lime juice, garlic, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Place the steak in a dish or bag, pour marinade over it, and let it sit for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for extra flavor).

  2. Cook the Steak: Heat a cast-iron skillet or grill to medium-high heat. Cook the steak 3–4 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until it reaches your preferred doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

  3. Slice and Serve: Thinly slice the steak against the grain. Warm your tortillas, pile on the beef, and add your favorite toppings.

  4. Enjoy Ranch-Style: Serve with a side of grilled vegetables, Mexican rice, or just straight from the skillet surrounded by good company.
